Navigating the Financial Aid Process
The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is now open! Completing the FAFSA is a vital step toward securing financial aid for college, and we’re here to help make the process as smooth as possible with the help from one of our local colleges!
On Thursday, February 6, a representative from the Financial Aid office from SUNY Albany will be at the High School from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. to help families complete the FAFSA for any students who are attending college in the fall.
Please make sure that both parents and the student have their FAFSA ID before coming to the event. You can get your ID by going to https://studentaid.gov/. Please also bring Social Security numbers and W-2 tax documents. For additional questions or to reserve your spot call the guidance office at (518) 681-4214.
