Jan 13, 2018 – Hudson Falls, N.Y. — Hudson Falls Central School District Superintendent Linda Goewey has announced that she will be retiring later this year.
“From my first day at Hudson Falls in 2015 to present,” said Superintendent Goewey. “I have felt honored and privileged to be a part of the Hudson Falls community.”
Superintendent Goewey’s five years as leader of the Hudson Falls School district caps off a 35-year career in education. She said she is very pleased with both the direction the district is headed in and the gains that have been made over the last half-decade at the helm.
“I am grateful for the dedication of our community, our Board of Education, and most importantly I’m grateful for our outstanding and talented faculty and staff, said Superintendent Goewey. “They hold tough jobs that require creative talents to find solutions that cannot be found in any textbook.”
Superintendent Goewey’s last day will be July 31, 2020, and she says she will work to ensure the transition to the next superintendent will be a smooth one.
