Dear Hudson Falls Community,
It is with a heavy heart that I inform you that our community has lost a shining star. We have learned from the Nassivera family that Mia has passed away after a courageous fight with cancer. We offer our deepest sympathy to the Nassivera family and to all who feel the loss of such a special young lady.
Mia and the Nassivera family have been deeply connected to the Hudson Falls community; this is a heartbreaking loss. In difficult times like these, we wish to support our students, faculty, and staff.
On Monday, March 1st, Grief Rooms will be open for middle and high school students at the high school between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Monday, March 1 will be a day of remote instruction for all HFCSD students. Students should check their google classrooms for more information.
Mia’s courageous fight truly defines for us all what it means to be Tiger Strong.
Sincerely,
Jon Hunter, Interim Superintendent
