My #TigerPride has reached a new bar. It is not often in one’s role as superintendent the opportunity comes around to celebrate with you in one newsletter: a new teacher who is also a very recent HFCSD graduate; a much-awaited new academic program (that she’s teaching); and 68 scholar-athletes.

Ag-citing Development: 2018 Grad Maggie Hogan Brings Ag Learning to Life
To meet Maggie Hogan is a chance to experience full on commitment and passion for not only agriculture but teaching students. We could not be more fortunate, and it could not be more fitting that her devotion to ag and love of teaching it have landed right here in Hudson Falls. Where I believe we might all agree, she rightly belongs.
Having an agriculture program for our students has been in the works for a few years. That this program is now a reality is yet another post-pandemic triumph for HFCSD. The classes offered allow our students another authentic opportunity to engage with relevant topics that are essential to our success as a community and society. I encourage you to read our web story about Maggie and talk about her and what she’s teaching with your student. I can guarantee it will spark many a student’s interest in exploring one of her classes.

Adding to 65 Years of Memories: Final Performance in Auditorium Dec. 21
The final concert of 2022 on Wednesday will also mark the final performance in the auditorium until August 2023. The renovation work will go into full swing and we await with much anticipation what the new auditorium will provide our students, families, and community.
Sixty-five years of memories fill that space and will continue to be a source of smiles and pleasure as we look forward to all the newly-renovated space will provide. Come join us for this memorable occasion. The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. and features the high school choir, choralier, jazz concert, and Chamber.
There is an active effort underway to hold our Spring concerts in a nearby, temporary location. Will will provide information soon!
