The week was full of adapting to challenges, and we came together as a community to provide our students as close to a normal routine as possible. This near normalcy in the face of what were deemed to be “false threats” would not have been possible without the swift action of our law enforcement partners: Hudson Falls PD, Washington County Sheriff’s Office, and New York State Police. We thank them for their service to our unwavering commitment to a safe environment for all students, parents, faculty, and staff.
Welcome Aboard!
Although he technically started last Thursday, we were happy to have our new School Resource Officer Shawn Lovelace on board this week. His presence will be felt in all of our buildings as his appointment comes in partnership with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office. Check out his profile on our website and put a face to the name.
Last Call For Parent Input
As we continue to gather information from our stakeholders, we are making a final call for our parents to complete the survey that they received in their emails. Input will be used to help develop our multi-year strategic plan.

Students Go Solo Before a Packed House at The Strand
It was a wonderful evening, March 30 at The Strand Theater. The Hudson Falls music department proudly featured select grade 7-12 students, who each performed a solo, as well as ensemble numbers. The students performed to a packed house. Congratulations to all the performers, and everyone involved. I encourage you to check out this snapshot of the performance.
Give Me a Break
Spring break has arrived and I am sure it is a welcomed chance to vacation, rest, and recharge for the final stretch of the school year. While many people will take this opportunity for a vacation for those that will remain locally we want to highlight opportunities in our very own backyard.
