Xerox Award for Innovation and Information Technology
This award is given by the University of Rochester to a student who has a strong interest and high level of achievement in the areas of innovation and/or information technology. This student leads other students to new approaches to old problems such as business plans for fundraising, innovative community service, after-school activities and best use of internal communication tools such as chat and blogs. These students demonstrate strong leadership qualities. They have an academic interest in Engineering, Business, Science, or Liberal Arts and are recognized by students and faculty as having been a positive contributor to school and community.
