Tuesday, 7/9 

Feeder & Champlain Canal Trail Bike Ride & Ice Cream at Jack & Jill´s (age 10 and up) 

Drop off: 8:30  Pick up: 1:00

No cost, can bring money for ice cream!

Drop off and pick up at Murray Park. Ride down the Feeder Canal Trail, past the 5 combines, down the Champlain Canal Trail and back with a picnic lunch.. Bring your own lunch. Bring money for ice cream at Jack and Jill´s after!

Tuesday, 7/23 

Up Yonda Farm Pond Life Program & Guided Nature Hike, Bolton Landing (8 and up)

Drop off: 8:30 Pick up: 3:30

$10 per person (students & chaperones)

Spend the day at Up Yonda Farm! Explore a pond and examine wildlife up close with a dip net, learn about pond food webs, and play games then enjoy a picnic lunch followed by a guided hike with beautiful views of Lake George. After hiking, explore the property and exhibits on your own before heading back home.  (Bring your own lunch)

Wednesday, 8/14

Sacandaga White Water Rafting Trip with Wild Waters Outdoor Center, Lake Luzerne (8 and up) 

Drop off: 8:30  Pick up: 2:30

$36 per person (students & chaperones)

This 3.5-mile trip is perfect for everyone! Every raft has a Wild Waters trained raft guide that provides your group with a fun and safe experience. The trip starts at the base of the Stewart´s Dam where you will encounter the first thrilling rapid and paddle through ‘Vesuvius’, a large breaking wave that is sure to get everyone wet! Then enjoy a refreshing swim and float in the warm clean waters of the mile long swim section. Then your guide pulls you back into the raft for for the last big class 3 rapid. End the day with a picnic lunch, a big smile on your face and great memories! (Bring your own lunch)

Via Aquarium visit with Hand-on Reptiles & Friends Experience, Schenectady (8 and up)

Drop off: 8:30 Pick up: 3:30

Admission: Students: $17  Chaperones: $21  

Dive into the underwater world at Via Aquarium! Journey through over 45 Exhibits showcasing the wonders of our oceans, rivers, and local freshwater habitats. Feed fish, touch stingrays, and walk through the tunnel with sharks.  Meet, touch and learn about reptiles with our special hands-on Reptiles and Friends experience featuring lizards, snakes, turtles and more! Bring your own lunch. Food court options are also available for purchase.
