Hudson Falls Central School District is proud to announce the comprehensive return of the Celebration of the Arts. The High school will transform into an Art Gallery showcasing student projects from around the district on Tuesday, May 21 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The event returns from scaled back or virtual iterations that took place since 2020. The celebration coincides with the annual Budget Vote which will take place in the gymnasium from noon to 8:00 p.m. on the same day. People can enter through the main entrance or the G wing/gym entrance with art and performances between both locations.
Hudson Falls has a rich history in support of the arts which includes curriculum at every grade level and supported by electives in high school. The music department offers Band, Orchestra, Choir and Drama. This year’s celebration will include live performances from the music department in the Auditorium and amongst the exhibits. The performance schedule is as follows:
Auditorium
- 6:00 p.m. – 3rd Grade Choral Club
- 6:10 p.m. – 4/5th Grade Choral Club
- 6:30-7:00 p.m. – 5th Grade Band will be a live rehearsal in the BAND ROOM
- 6:40 p.m. – 5th Grade Orchestra will also be a live rehearsal
- 6:50 p.m. – Middle School Band Small Ensemble
Lobby Outside of Cafeteria
- 6:00 p.m. – 6th Grade Orchestra Small Ensemble
- 6:20 p.m. – Choraliers
- 6:30 p.m. – High School Jazz Band Flute and Clarinet Quartet
- 6:45 p.m. – High School String Quartet
