The Hudson Falls School District will be open on Monday, April 8, the date of the solar eclipse. In our area, the partial solar eclipse will begin around 2:12 p.m. and will end at approximately 4:37 p.m., depending on weather conditions.
The district has purchased solar eclipse glasses for students and staff members. Building principals and classroom teachers will be distributing glasses and providing instruction on how to remain safe during the eclipse.
Buildings will be dismissed at their normal times.
All after-school activities will be conducted inside until 4:45 p.m. that day.
