Amanda Landsman
As a Board of Education member of 6 years, and a mother of two children in the district, I am deeply invested in the future of our community’s education. I am running for another term on the Hudson Falls Board of Education to continue advocating for the needs of all students to ensure they receive the best possible education. I believe in fostering an environment where every child can thrive and while collaborating with our entire Board of Education, I will continue to work towards creating an innovative and effective school system for our children’s future. I also believe that communication between families, educators, and the community is vital. By ensuring transparent, open conversations and actively listening to the needs of everyone involved, together we can continue to build a strong school environment where all voices are heard and valued.
Amanda Landsman is on the ballot unopposed for one of the two Board of Education seats being elected.
Adriana Strong
With over a decade in education as a former elementary teacher and current administrator, I have dedicated my career to fostering academic excellence and creating opportunities for all students. Holding certifications in general and special education, along with a School Building Leadership certificate, I understand the challenges and opportunities our schools face.
My connection to Hudson Falls runs deep. My husband, a proud Hudson Falls graduate, serves as an administrator at Hudson Falls Middle School. My two step children also graduated from the district, and their success is a direct result of the education and experiences they had in Hudson Falls, which prepared them for higher education at Hartwick and Siena College. These personal ties reinforce my passion for ensuring every student has access to the resources, support, and opportunities they need to thrive.
My goal is to advocate for responsible decision-making that prioritizes student success, supports our educators, and strengthens the partnership between schools and the community. I would be honored to bring my experience and dedication to the Hudson Falls Board of Education.
Samantha Melucci
Sam Melucci is currently in her 24th year as a Middle School Social Studies teacher. She serves her school community as an Instructional Teacher Leader for the Middle School Social Studies department, as well as club advisor for both Student Council and SADD. She is also active in our community, serving as a member of the Washington County Children’s Committee as the Chairperson of the Letter Writing Campaign for Hudson Falls/Kingsbury. Additionally, she volunteers for the HF Run 4 Kids, which benefits Operation Santa Claus and the Hudson Falls Rotary club. A proud 1994 graduate of Hudson Falls Schools, 4 of her 5 children have graduated from Hudson Falls, with her 5th scheduled to graduate in 2027. She is a proud supporter of public education, and is excited for the opportunity to contribute to the history of excellence of our schools for future generations of Tigers!
Adriana Strong and Samantha Melucci are contesting one of the two Board of Education seats being elected.
