Talking HF Tigers 1/17

I would like to thank everyone who helped make the Green Carpet event a success. It showcased Tiger pride and it was a memorable night in Tiger Town for parents, staff and students of all ages.

In the High School, Regents and midterm testing will begin Tuesday, January 21 to Friday, January 24. You can find the exam schedule on the High School page of the website.

As a reminder, there will be no classes on Monday, January 20, in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.

Health Office Reminder

Attendance in school is vital to success and we have emphasized the importance of attendance often. It is also the time of year when we see increases in illness throughout our schools and it is equally important to maintain a safe and healthy environment for all. Communication with the Health Office can help confirm whether your student should stay home with illness. Please visit our health services page which offers guidelines and contact information to assist in our effort for healthy learning environments.

Snowflake Ball

The elementary PTSA is hosting their annual Snowflake Ball on Saturday, January 25. It will be a drop-off and pick-up event from 6:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m. at the Intermediate School. Admission will be $5 and is open to intermediate students only. Digital photos will be provided by Cherie Amour Photography and snacks and drinks will be available for purchase in the cafeteria throughout the event. Have your student come and have a ball.

The PTSA is also urgently seeking new officers and volunteers for the 2025-2026 school year! If you are interested in stepping up to help keep our beloved events going, please email them at ptso@hfcsd.org

Say Yes To The Dress

On Wednesday, February 5, the High School Student Council will host their annual Prom Boutique in the High School Auditorium Lobby from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Students and community members can pick from a selection of new and gently used gowns, formal wear, shoes, and accessories, all offered to shoppers for free! This is the perfect opportunity to get ready for your upcoming prom, the senior dinner dance, or any upcoming formal events you have planned.

Boost The Backpack

A reminder that if you purchase a reusable Fight Hunger Bag at the Kingsbury Hannaford during January, our Intermediate School will receive $1. All the money raised will go toward purchasing food and supplies for our Food Backpack program. It’s a great bag and a great way to help!
