Talking HF Tigers 10/18

Tiger spirit was on full display this week across the district. Tiger Tuesday in the elementary buildings and spirit week for the middle and high schools had students beaming with Tiger pride. Go green excitement peaked at the pep rallies this afternoon and is a great reminder that coming together for fun builds school culture and spirit.

Sports Update

Congratulations to our girls tennis team who captured a Section 2 runner-up finish in sectionals, losing in the championship match on Wednesday to Scotia-Glenville 5-2. Our Tigers earned their spot in the championship by defeating defending Section 2 Champions Ichabod Crane at home on Tuesday in a thrilling 4-3 match. Way to go girls!

It is hard to believe that fall sports are wrapping up already. Registration for JV/Varsity winter sports will open on ArbiterSports (FamilyID) on Monday, October 21. Registration for modified winter sports (grades 7 and 8) will open on Monday, November 4. If you need more information on athletics, including Arbiter (FamilyID) registrations, visit our athletics webpage.

For our younger students that are not able to compete in interscholastic athletics, HFCSD Recreation has winter sign-ups available now. Visit the HFCSD Rec section on our website for easy online registration with offerings available for Kindergarten through sixth grade.
