I hope everyone enjoyed some extra time off for their Memorial Day weekend and are ready to flip the calendar to June. It is hard to believe we have reached the final month of the school year but there is still a lot of work to be done. There is no lack of opportunities across our K-12 grades to celebrate and participate in events throughout the month. Field trips, assemblies, concerts, moving up ceremonies, and yearbook distribution fill the calendar and give students a chance to celebrate their accomplishments and the memories made throughout the school year.
One Last Change
As long as there are no emergency closures between now and the end of the year, the last day of classes for elementary students will be Tuesday, June 25. The original schedule had the last day for elementary buildings as Wednesday, June 26 but without any school closings this year the students will now be off on June 26.

Honors Graduate Ceremony
Each year we recognize graduating seniors who have maintained a 90% average or higher cumulative GPA through the third quarter of their senior year. This year’s ceremony will take place on Wednesday, June 5 at 6:00 p.m. in the High School Auditorium. This year 24 students will be recognized for this honor, and I would like to congratulate all those seniors who have reached this milestone.
Athletic Awards Night
The Varsity Club is hosting a Varsity Sports Awards Night for all 2023-24 varsity athletes and teams. This will be on Thursday, June 13, at 5:00 p.m. in the High School Auditorium. This is for any athlete that participated in a varsity sport throughout the year. Hudson Falls student athletes that have informed the athletics office that they will be continuing in athletics in college will also be recognized during this ceremony.
Immediately following the Varsity Club awards the Tiger Trackers Booster Club will be hosting their Class of 2024 Senior-Athlete Sports Banquet in the High School large cafeteria. Senior athletes are free and tickets for family (up to 4 per athlete) are $20. Tickets must be purchased at the HF Athletic Office by June 6, 2024 cash, check or Venmo @TigerTrackersBoosterClub.
It is a great moment to recognize the sacrifice and dedication of student-athletes and the friends and family members who supported these students in their participation. An advance thank you for all you’ve done and role you’ve played in their HF athletic careers.
Save the Date
The Goodness Strong Walk-A-Thon will be held on Sunday, June 23 at 10:30 a.m. at the Kingsbury Volunteer Hose Company. Christopher Goodness was a Hudson Falls student who tragically passed away last year. In his honor his family has graciously set up a scholarship to be awarded each year to a graduating senior from Hudson Falls High School. We hope to see many from our school community to support this cause and use it as a day to celebrate one of our forever Tigers.
