Next Friday, October 6, there will be no classes for students as staff will be taking part in a superintendent conference day. We would also like to remind families that Monday, October 9 will be a day off for everyone in observance of Columbus day.
Busy Campus
We are almost into October and this past week we wrapped up the remainder of our parent nights and open houses. We can’t thank everyone enough for spending an evening in one of our classrooms. Fall sports are in full swing with all modified schedules now underway, and JV and varsity teams more than halfway through their schedules. Clubs and afterschool programs are meeting and forming and we offer many different options that can suit your student. It is always a pleasure to see the campus bustling with activity even after the final bell.
Parent Portal
We encourage all parents of students in grades 6-12 to sign up for parent portal access through SchoolTool. Parent portal allows parents to see their child’s schedule, attendance, grades and assignments. To sign up for Parent Portal please email schooltoolportal@hfcsd.org with the following information: parent name, student’s name(s) and grade(s) and an email address where parents receive messages. Once we receive the email and create your parent account, you will receive an email with your password and login instructions. There is no parent portal for UPK-5, and parents should be in contact with their student’s teacher for any updates between traditional report card periods.
