On Friday, January 23 the “Green Carpet” event hosted by the Tiger Trackers Booster Club returns and offers our younger students a unique chance to show off their Tiger pride! Beginning at 4:45 p.m. at the high school there will be concessions and an opportunity to get your picture taken with the Tiger mascot and athletes. The event is being held in conjunction with the boys basketball game against Broadalbin-Perth with JV starting at 5:30 p.m. and varsity tipping at 7:00 p.m. In between games you won't want to miss the recognition of some of our new teachers to the district as we celebrate the newest members of Team Tiger.

The elementary PTSA is hosting their annual Snowflake Ball on Saturday, January 17. It will be a drop-off and pick-up event from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Intermediate School. Admission will be $5 and is open to intermediate students only. There will be photos, a DJ, and snacks and drinks will be available for purchase in the cafeteria throughout the event. Have your student come and have a ball.

Next week, the high school will host the final two performances of our Winter Concert series. On Tuesday, January 13, at 7:00 p.m., our choral students in grades 3–8 will take the stage in the high school auditorium. The series concludes on Thursday, January 15, at 7:00 p.m. with the 4/5 Orchestra, the Grade 5 Band, and the 4/5 Chorus.

Because our elementary concerts are popular and often draw large crowds, please note that if the auditorium reaches capacity, the lobby is equipped with monitors and speakers so you can still enjoy the performance.
