As we brace for another round of extreme cold this weekend, I hope everyone is staying safe and warm indoors! While the forecast looks a bit frosty, we’re keeping our spirits high by focusing on the light at the end of the tunnel: Spring is officially just around the corner.

Community Sharing

As a school district we often share information from community partners that have a direct benefit to our students and families.

Hudson Falls Youth Baseball is offering online registration at the following link , and an in-person registration on Tuesday, February 24 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Primary School cafeteria. If you need more information visit their Facebook page or email hudsonfallsyb@gmail.com.
For Hudson Falls Girls Softball you can register online for the 2026 season now through March 1 by clicking here. They will also hold an in-person registration on Saturday, February 28 from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Hudson Falls Primary School. Spring Sports Registration

Spring sports registration for JV/Varsity opens Monday, February 9 with the season starting on Monday, March 9. Modified sports registration will open up Monday, February 23 and the start date for modified will be March 23. Prepare now by making sure all health information is up to date so clearance can be granted before the first day of practices! Contact the Health Office with clearance questions. Once registration is open, use the link below and/or visit the HFCSD website under Athletics -> Register for Sports Online, for detailed instructions.

Go Tigers, GoFan!

Hudson Falls will be hosting the Section 2 Class CC Wrestling championships Saturday and the event is expected to run throughout the day. As a reminder for all Section 2 postseason events they are strictly using GoFan ticketing. Spectators should be coming with a pre-purchased ticket by using this link. These events and pricing are determined by Section 2 and not by hosting schools or venues. In some cases if you haven't pre-purchased your ticket you may use a credit card on site to purchase a ticket(s) with the only exception being any games played at Harding and Mazzotti Arena.

Sweet Dance

This weekend, it’s the Primary School’s turn to hit the dance floor! The PTSA is hosting their annual Sweetheart Dance this Saturday, February 7, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. This special evening is designed for Primary students and one adult chaperone to create lasting memories together right here at the Primary School.

Event Details:

Admission: $15 (covers one child and their chaperone)
Additional Siblings: $5 per extra child
What’s Included: Refreshments, fun crafts, and great music
Photos: CherieAmour Photography will be on-site providing digital photos free of charge throughout the evening!

Graduation Ceremony Update

The Hudson Falls High School Graduation Ceremony will now be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. in the high school gymnasium. This change is due to capital project construction scheduled to begin at the end of June. We apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause and appreciate your understanding as we work to ensure a memorable graduation ceremony for all students and families.
