Joint Announcement: Hudson Falls and Fort Edward 2026 Football Program

The Hudson Falls and Fort Edward High School football program have decided to transition our merged Varsity football program to an 8-man model for the upcoming 2026 season.

This decision was reached after reviewing current registration numbers. By moving Varsity to an 8-man team, we can continue with a full 11-man Junior Varsity team for our underclassmen, ensuring proper player development without compromising safety or participation.

Section 2 is currently adapting to roster changes across several area schools and we anticipate a competitive season for our Varsity athletes.
