It was our absolute pleasure to welcome students back to the 2026–27 school year! We are deeply grateful for the community’s patience as everyone settles into their new daily routines. With the new year underway, please remember to drive safely around all school buildings and remain vigilant for stopped school buses loading and unloading children each morning and afternoon. The safety of our students is our highest priority, and your extra caution on the roads makes all the difference.

We also want to thank you for your continued cooperation as we work to improve our facilities with ongoing construction across several of our campuses. Please remind your students to stay clear of all active work zones, and exercise extra care when walking or driving near these areas. Thank you for your partnership in keeping our school community safe, welcoming, and strong!

Parking Lot Closure at Middle School

Please be advised that the Middle School East parking lot (located on the right side of the building when facing it) and both lot entrances from Notre Dame and Burgoyne Streets will be closed starting Saturday, September 12 at 6:00 a.m. through Monday, September 14 at 5:00 a.m.

This temporary closure is required to complete final striping for the new traffic pattern. Thank you for your cooperation and patience as we finish these improvements.

Care Solace

Heading back to school can be stressful for some. Hudson Falls Central School District is committed to the health, safety, and well-being of our students, staff, and families. We are proud to announce our continued partnership with Care Solace to support our ongoing commitment. If you or a family member are looking for help with mental health or substance use, Care Solace will quickly connect you to community providers matched to your needs. Call 888-515-0595 at any time or search on your own at caresolace.com/hfcsd. This service is available at no charge to our school community.

How To Stay Connected

The Hudson Falls Central School District wants to keep our school community up-to-date on all of the happenings within our schools. Stay in the loop by checking out our district website at hfcsd.org

Additionally, we encourage our parents and guardians to sign up for ParentSquare. ParentSquare is our messaging system where you will receive emails, texts, and calls directly from the school. ParentSquare will also have attendance reports for your student and building and class-specific communications, along with our weekly Talking HF Tigers newsletter. This year all school buildings will be utilizing ParentSquare to send secure documents such as progress reports, report cards and testing diagnostics. Make sure to keep your contact information current with our district registrar at (518) 681-4534 so you can receive important school messaging. Information on how to register for ParentSquare can be found here.
