It’s hard to believe Fall is already here and October is right around the corner! A huge thank you to all the elementary families who joined us for Parent Night. Getting to share a glimpse into your child’s daily routine is always a highlight for our teachers, and your continued partnership is a key driver of our students' academic success.
                     
Parent Participation

             

Parental involvement in education provides great rewards for both the parents and the students. For those looking to be involved, we have dedicated parent run organizations that are always looking for new members.


  • UPK-5 PTSA: The next meeting of the 2026-2027 school year will be held on Monday, November 16 at 6:30 p.m. in the Primary School Cafeteria!  Visit them on Facebook. 


  • Middle School PTSO: The MS PTSO is always actively seeking new members to bolster their organization in support of the 6th-8th grade school community,  please email them at msptso@hfcsd.org.


  • Tiger Trackers Booster Club: The purpose of our Booster Club is to support and service the Hudson Falls Interscholastic Athletic programs. The next Tiger Trackers Booster Club meeting will be held on Monday, October 5, at 6:00 p.m. in the High School District Office Conference room, which is at the end of D wing. They would like to invite all Middle School and High School parents who have an athlete playing sports to come be a part of the club. 

                         

Touch-A-Truck

                    

Get ready for a morning of big trucks, cool vehicles, and tons of fun this weekend! The Hudson Falls Class of 2028 is excited to host a Touch-A-Truck fundraiser for kids and families on Saturday, September 26, from 10:00 a.m. to noon at Hudson Falls Primary School. Children will have the chance to touch, climb, explore, and learn about all kinds of vehicles, including police cars, tractors, and heavy machinery.


In addition to the trucks, attendees can check out temporary body art crafted by Class of 2028 students, and delicious refreshments will be available for purchase from the Wet Your Whistle Cafe. Admission is $5 per person or $20 for a family of five or more, with all proceeds benefiting the Class of 2028. Please note that admission and extras are cash-only. Come touch, climb, and explore with us!

    

Trunk or Treat

                     

The Hudson Falls Central School District is excited to announce its fifth annual Trunk or Treat event on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at the Primary School, and we need your help to make it a success! We are currently looking for families and organizations to participate by decorating a trunk and providing candy or goodies for the trick-or-treaters. Setup for decorated vehicles will begin at 10:00 a.m., with trunk-or-treating running from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Since this is a family-friendly event, we kindly ask participants to keep decorations fun rather than too scary. 

 

The event will take place rain or shine, and all registered participants will receive an email during the week of the event with additional details. If you would like to participate, please sign up by Friday, October 16, 2026, by emailing April Struwing at astruwing@hfcsd.org.
