It was wonderful seeing so many smiles, creative costumes, and festive energy across our schools today as we kicked off Halloween weekend! As you head out for trick-or-treating or extra family travel over the next few days, please drive with extra care and stay mindful of young folks in costumes on the roads. Wishing all of our families a fun, magical, and above all, safe Halloween!

Sports Registrations
Athletes looking to play a JV or varsity winter sport can still register with the season beginning on Monday, November 16. Modified (7/8 grade) registrations will open tomorrow, Saturday October 31 with the season beginning Monday, November 30.

Scheduling Reminders
I would like to highlight a few schedule reminders for next week. Friday, November 6 will be our annual NYS required Emergency Release Day where students and staff are prepared in case an emergency ever requires school to release early. Students will be dismissed 15 minutes early. There will be no after school events that require bus transportation.
The next Board of Education meeting will be moved from its usual Tuesday date to Monday, November 9 because of the Veterans Day holiday. The meeting remains at 6:30 p.m. in the High School Library Team Room.
On Wednesday, November 11, there will be no school in observance of Veterans Day. Let’s all take a moment to thank our Veterans and current service members for their service to this country. Their sacrifice makes what we all do on a day to day basis possible.
Still Looking For Runners/Walkers
The Hudson Falls Teachers’ Association and the Hudson Falls Rotary Club have teamed up once again to bring the Operation Santa 5K and the Tony Luciano Run for their fifth consecutive year. The runs will take place on Sunday, November 15, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the Hudson Falls High School Franklin St. entrance. The kids fun run will begin at 9:45 a.m. Proceeds from the event will benefit Operation Santa and the HF Rotary Club scholarship fund.
Register online by clicking here,cost will be $15 for ages 18 and under and $25 for ages 19+ if done online before 11/12. Race day registration will be $30 and will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. prior to the race.
